Room9 Comics

So I recently got involved with a local comic group where I live called Room9 comics.
I will be digitally colouring their cover pages drawn by Jakob Mahu.
But, I will also be collaborating with Dhaivat Mehta and creating a comic using the characters I have recently posted reference sheets for! At the moment, the comic is called "Rustic".
I have started sketching up the first page so in no time, hopefully, we will have a full chapter done!

1. I love cats.
Like I have a weird obsession with them. I like looking through tumblr for pictures of kittens then I store them on my computer.
...I love my cat even though I'm pretty sure he hates me sighs
2. I want to be a comic artist
Or an illustrator of children's books. Or something creative to do with drawing uGH. Since I'm not very good at coming up with plots, I'd like to work for someone else who could tell me what they'd like in a comic or whatever.

Seriously. I'm so lazy it's terrible. Anything that is slightly too much effort for me I drop it. I really need to work on that.

I'm don't really like working with people face to face like in a classroom for "group activities" (not that I do those anymore) but I hate the thought of being alone forever.

That sounds really .... conceited? but I put a lot of work into my covers and my UTAUs so sometimes I just wish they could be more appreciated I guess... I mean I love doing UTAU and I don't rely on other people's praise etc. but it would just be nice.
8. I wish I could find a style that people could recognize
I think this is a thing just about every artist goes through but after drawing for about 5 years I feel like I've improved but not really in the way I want to... like developing my own style.

I'm not that short but in New Zealand most people are hitting on 6ft at the age of 16 and I'm 5ft 3 so I feel quite small. I hate it but I also love it because I feel different.

Oh, me and Ekkoberry knew eachother in England then we both moved to New Zealand at the same time, finding eachother of dA a couple of years ago. We are into the same stuff too... what a cowinky-dink.

I am going to be opening commissions for my new cartoon-y style to get used to it a bit more.
